Mirror/Dash from Thirty Days NY on Vimeo.
After groundbreaking collaborations with Spike Jonze and Jay-Z, ABSOLUT Vodka have enlisted David Jacob Kramer and Sammy Harkham of taste-making LA bookstore Family to curate a pop-up artist loft/performance space nestled in the heart of New York City’s TriBeCa neighbourhood.
Dubbed Thirty Days NY the space will feature work from the likes of Sonic Youth, Rodarte, Geoff McFetridge and Ed Templeton as well as artists talks, live musical performances and exhibitions. If you’re already depressed that you don’t live in New York City check out the above video featuring Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore performing under their Mirror/Dash moniker. Yep, time to buy a place ticket or stick your head in the oven. If it’s any consolation at least there’s a super-talented Australian at the centre of it all. Amazing work, David.
Check out all the action from the ABSOLUT Gallery as the multi-tasking crew from Bondi FM host a party and broadcast live…
